MoreEnumerable.FallbackIfEmpty<T> Method (IEnumerable<T>,T[])

Returns the elements of a sequence, but if it is empty then returns an altenate sequence from an array of values.

Parameters

source
Type: System.Collections.Generic.IEnumerable<T>
The source sequence.
fallback
Type:T[]
The array that is returned as the alternate sequence if source is empty.

Type Parameters

T
The type of the elements in the sequences.

Return Value

Type: IEnumerable<T>
An IEnumerable< T> that containing fallback values if source is empty; otherwise, source.

Usage Note

In Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type IEnumerable<T>. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see Extension Methods (Visual Basic) or Extension Methods (C# Programming Guide).
